Certain criminal sanctions are envisaged for the protection of personal data through provisions of Turkish Penal Code No. 5237.

Furthermore, in order to fulfill our obligations arising from the Law on the Protection of Consumers No. 6502 and the Regulation on Distance Contracts, it is necessary to collect and use data.

The personal data shared with Rivus is under the supervision and control of Rivus. As the data controller, Rivus has taken responsibility to establish and implement the necessary organization and technical measures to protect the confidentiality and integrity of information in accordance with relevant current legislation. Aware of our obligation in this regard, penetration tests are periodically conducted in accordance with international and national technical standards concerning data privacy, and we inform you that we always update our data processing policies.

  1. Does Rivus Share Your Personal Data?

The sharing of personal data of our customers with third parties occurs within the framework of customer consent and, as a rule, personal data is not transferred to third parties without the consent of our customers.

However, personal data is shared with courts and other public institutions due to our legal obligations and limited to these obligations. Additionally, personal data may be transferred to contracted third parties to provide the committed services and conduct quality control of the services provided.

During data transfer to third parties, necessary technical and legal measures are taken to prevent rights violations. However, Rivus is not responsible for breaches occurring within the risk area of the third party responsible for data protection policies.

  • Request correction if your personal data is incomplete or incorrectly processed within the scope of Article 7 of the KVKK,
  • Request deletion or destruction of your personal data within the scope of Article 7 of the KVKK,
  • Request notification of the actions taken in accordance with subparagraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
  • Object to the occurrence of a result against you due to the analysis of your personal data exclusively through automated systems.
